Festival Qué Gusto: Exploring the Cuisine of Hidalgo
Recently, Chef Mercedes Ahumada, who has been involved with the festival since its inception, opened her restaurant Chicahualco (75017), where she offers the cuisine of her home region year-round. She has also just released a stunning book, Mexique - Les meilleures recettes, published by Mango.
This year, once again, Mercedes is partnering with the festival for two four-hands dinners. The first is with Chef Lucas Felzine, one of the pioneers of Nikkei cuisine in Paris. The second is another four-hands collaboration with Chef Baptiste Renouard at his Michelin-starred restaurant, Ochre, in Rueil-Malmaison.
